This is a position for an Associate Director Systems Engineer in the Fixed and Rotary Wing Systems organization. This position will develop, lead, and cadence the future roadmaps across multiple military rotary wing programs. The position will influence both system architecture, hardware and software design to meet the future needs of our warfighters. The individual will be responsible for working across organizational boundaries to align the roadmap with financial investments and staffing and skillset needs. Experience with leading system architecture design Demonstrated ability to perform system tradeoff studies and provide professional written communications Demonstrated ability to collaborate with customers and other companies to maximize the system benefit Experience supporting or leading capture teams for new and advanced development Experience leading and executing technology demonstrations at customer facilities Ability to lead and contribute to the development of long term technology roadmaps across multiple programs and products Current US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
Candidate desired skills:
Candidate required skills: This position requires a Bachelors degree in the appropriate discipline and 12 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required. US Citizenship is required. Proven system architect comfortable with developing system concepts and missions, performing architecture trade studies, and generating requirements for flow-down Demonstrated ability to present at customer technical interchange meetings and proposal reviews Demonstrated problem-solving using data-driven decision-making Be self-directed, able to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives with minimal oversight Have excellent oral and written communications skills Possess strong interpersonal skills and work well within a design team environment
